Raised in South Africa and of Indian origin, Amr Singh is a storyteller at heart. Quick-paced, colorful and visually inviting, Amr’s work is characterized by striking imagery, authentic execution, and an acute appreciation for narrative structure. Though Amr is a highly technical director, his studies in anthropology have supplied him with an understanding of the unique patterns of human behavior which are masterfully exhibited in the performances he captures.

He has received recognition from SHOTS YDA, as well as the Van Gough Award at the Amsterdam International Film Festival and a Gold Craft for Directing from the Promax Awards. Recently he has directed commercials for brands including Canada Dry, Smirnoff and Stella Artois.
